First Year Full-Time Certificate Program

The Alberta Institute of Massage's First Year Certificate Program provides a comprehensive education focusing on anatomy, physiology, massage techniques, CPR/First Aid, and practical experience in a student clinic. The program runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with additional evening and weekend classes. 

*This program is available as a Distance Learning / In-Class Hybrid* 

Second Year Full-Time Advanced Diploma Program

Progressive topics covered in the program include arthrology, pathologies, gait analysis, advanced assessment and treatment techniques, business/communications, and more. The program also introduces complementary modalities, such as craniosacral and manual lymphatic drainage. Practical components include involvement in community practicums and a cadaver lab session. Full-time classes are held Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with clinical practicum hours scheduled on Fridays, evenings, and weekends.
