Student Clinics
We invite you to come and experience the diverse benefits of massage in our supervised student massage clinic. The treatments are performed by our students at very reasonable rates and are an integral portion of their training in proficiency. The massages are delivered in a classroom setting that has been designed to provide a relaxing, soothing and learning atmosphere for both the student practitioner and the client.
Welcome to the Alberta Institute of Massage
Our massage therapy training facility is a Private Vocational School licensed under the Private Vocational Training Act. We are pleased to offer flexibility in study by offering full-time training and distance learning training. Continuing education classes as well as personal interest classes are scheduled throughout the year.
Our classrooms are modern and spacious, providing a comfortable and conducive environment for learning. The school is located in Red Deer, Alberta, a thriving and prosperous community, centrally positioned between Alberta's largest cities, Calgary and Edmonton. The Alberta Institute of Massage was established in 1990 and in monitoring the pulse of the profession, has stayed current with this changing vocational field and has consistently met the demands for a higher standard of education.
In a pleasant "small school" environment, our supportive staff and faculty nurture our students and encourage their sincere desires to gain knowledge and achieve their goals for the course.

1000 Hour Full-Time IC Certificate
This certificate program with a strong education base goes way beyond relaxation training.
Course information is delivered during the onsite sessions at the school and supplemented with take-home assignments.
